Tanzanian singer and performer Diamond Platnumz has achieved another career milestone after winning the award for Best East African Artist at the 2022 Headies Award.
Naseeb Abdul, famously known as Diamond Platnumz is once again on the news after winning the Best East African artist award at the 2022 Headies Awards. The 15th edition of the prestigious award ceremony was held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, and it saw Diamond Platnumz become the only East African who won at this year's edition of the award show.
Diamond Platnumz won the award against Eddy Kenzo from Uganda, Nikita Kering from Kenya, Meddy from Rwanda, and his two proteges Zuchu and the former WCB Wasafi signee Harmonize who a few months ago won 3 trophies from the Tanzania Music Awards 2022 and went on to say that he has no intentions of winning Grammy or BET Awards.
