Manchester United Agree Talks with Ralf Rangnick as its Interim Manager

Manchester United have agreed on a deal with Ralf Rangnick to sign him on an interim basis until the end of the season.

The news was confirmed by the Athletic on Thursday, November 25th, 2021. According to the report,s the 63-year-old will leave his position as the sporting director of Lokomotiv Moscow to move to Old Trafford. He will manage United for six months before signing a two-year deal in a consultancy role.
The managerial job at Old Trafford became vacant on Sunday, November 21st, 2021 when the board at Manchester United decided to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following the poor run of results in the Premier League.
Rangnick will be coming to the Premier League with experience following his time in the Bundesliga having coached Hannover 96, Schalke 04, Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig. He also served as director of football RB Leipzig from 2012.
