Following Barcelona's interest in Chelsea's defenders Cesar Azplicueta and Marcos Alonso, Chelsea CEO Todd Boehly had made a trip to Spain to discuss the future of the two players alongside other key details.
The Chelsea boss was confirmed to have arrived and departed from Barcelona on the same day which was on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
Chelsea had shown a late interest according to reports in Manchester United's target Frenkie De Jong as well as Dembele who many have speculated would be a part of the talks that ensued at the dinner in Barcelona.
Todd Boehly had left the dinner all in smiles which has left many guessing the line of action for both teams that also share a mutual interest in Leeds Raphinha.
