Tanzanian music royalty Diamond Platnumz has continued his bid to cement his position as Africa's Giant after surpassing 7 Million subscribers on the world's most popular video site, Youtube, therefore consolidating his position as the most subscribed artist on Youtube in Sub-Saharan Africa.

With 7 Million subscribers, the award-winning singer is now on his way to amassing 2 Billion views on the platform, therefore, making him an artist with the most views in Sub-Saharan Africa. On his Youtube Channel, Yope Remix with Innos B is the most viewed music video which has until now amassed 194 Million views on the platform.
Other Tanzanian artists with a high number of subscribers in Africa include Rayvanny who a few days ago clocked 4 Million subscribers and Harmonize who has about 3.47 Million subscribers on his Youtube account.
