Odumodublvck - A Pioneer of Okporoko Rhythms

Odumodublvck, born in Lagos and raised in Abuja, has become one of the most influential voices in Nigeria’s music scene over the past decade. Known for his innovative style, he has created a unique genre called *Okporoko Rhythms*, blending elements of Drill, Grime, Afrobeat (inspired by Fela Kuti), and Progressive R&B. His music stands out for its deep, reflective lyrics and a raw emotional core that captures the highs and lows of his personal journey.

Odumodublvck describes his sound as “a sweet misery, a beautiful melody,” and his songs often tell autobiographical stories. His path to music began unexpectedly—an injury ended his football dreams, but he quickly discovered his talent and magnetic stage presence, which led him to pursue music full-time.

Since releasing his first single in 2017, Odumodublvck has worked tirelessly to build his career on his terms. Proudly representing Abuja, he strives to show that African artists, especially those from Nigeria, can redefine genres and create music that resonates globally. As the leader of the Anti-World Gangsters and Blvck Sheep Music collectives, he has played a key role in shaping the vibrant music movement emerging from Nigeria’s capital.

Today, Odumodublvck’s dedication and passion are paying off, as he continues to rise as one of Africa’s most promising and original artists.
