AC Milan's forward player, Olivier Giroud has broken a long-standing record in the French national team.

The former Chelsea player became the oldest player in the history of the Le Blue to score a goal. He achieved this feat at 35 years and 357 days in the UEFA Nations League game against Austria on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022.
Giroud is also 2 goals away from equalling Thierry Henry as the highest goal scorer in the French national team. The forward player has been in fantastic form for both the club and the national team.
