One of the latest additions to the Chelsea squad, Moises Caicedo has been in the news for the wrong reasons following his debut for the Blues.

The midfielder did not have the type of debut he was expecting when he was introduced in the second half of the game against West Ham United at the London Stadium. Moises Caicedo committed a foul in the penalty area which led to the Hammers' third goal.

"It wasn’t the debut that I expected but I’m happy to get my first minutes with this big club. We’ll keep working hard to put this team where it deserves. Thanks to the fans who are supporting me."

Chelsea signed Caicedo from Brighton for a record transfer fee of £115 million, the highest that has been paid for a player in the history of the Premier League. However, the supporters of the club will wish the game against West Ham was just a one-off result.
