Saudi Arabian side, Al-Nassr have decided to terminate the contract of Vincent Aboubakar in a bid to accommodate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese player was signed as a free agent following the termination of his contract by Manchester United. However, they have not been able to register him because of the number of foreign players in the club.

The reports in France, has it that Aboubakar mutually agreed to terminate his contract and will be compensated by the club. There are unconfirmed reports that he could be on his way to Old Trafford.

This means Ronaldo can be registered as a player of Al-Nassr but he might not be having his debut soon following his two-match suspension. The 37-year-old knocked a mobile phone out of a 14-year-old's hands after Manchester United's defeat at Everton in 2021.
