AFCON 2021: Toko Ekambi Fires Cameroon into the Semi-Finals

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have advanced to the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations.

The host Nation qualified in grand style by beating the Gambia in the quarter-final of the competition on Saturday, January 29th, 2022. Cameroon needed two goals from one of the best players lf the tournament Toko Ekambi to send his country to the last four of the tournament.

The first half did not see any goals as it was keenly contested between both teams. Ekambi extended his goal tally in the competition to six goals as he scored two quick goals to book a spot for Cameroon in the Semi-finals.

Cameroon will play against the winner of the game between Egypt and Morocco.
