Portable and Young Duu engage in public spat over apology attempt

A public spat has erupted between controversial street singer, Portable and his former signee, Young Duu, after the latter attempted to apologize for past grievances in a leaked chat.

Portable took to social media on Saturday, April 6, 2024 share screenshots of their conversations, revealing Young Duu's private attempt to reconcile.

Despite Young Duu expressing regret for his past actions towards his former boss, Portable was not appeased, deeming the apology insincere. Portable, still harboring resentment, accused Young Duu of trying to tarnish his brand despite Portable's efforts in launching his career. He recounted instances of unwarranted curses and attempts to damage his label's reputation.

"I think them don use you finish. You disgrace who light your fire. You swear for me wey I no do you anything just because I want to change your life. You spoil my label name. Now see where you dey. You really do me wrong. No chance for foolishness. After I help your life you come out talk say I no do you anything. Dey your day no come use your own spoil our own," Portable expressed in the leaked chat.

In response to Portable's rejection of reconciliation, Young Duu took to his Instagram story to mock his ex-boss, implying Portable was being manipulated by negative influences. "Dey play. Stop listening to people that give bad news just to make you give them attention that were you lose," he wrote.
