One of the facts revealed during this interview is his disappointment that Davido, Olamide and other talented acts like Terri didn't make the album. This was revealed when Ovie asked him specifically why Davido, Olamide and Terri were not on the project and in responding, he said he tried to get them on but he couldn't get them cleared before the release of the project on Friday.

The interview which took place on the 8th of December 2020, had Dj Spinall talking about the inspiration behind not just the project but the title of his 5th album.

Responding to that, he said:

Thank you, bro. That title is very personal to me. My career so far is nothing short of GRACE. Grace, A 5 letter word signifying my 5th studio album. #SpinallGRACEChat

He also expressed how the pandemic helped the process of the album and how it's taken him a year to complete the project. He tweeted:

Yes, I produced ‘Tonight’ ft. Omah Lay while I was in the US. I also shot the video for ‘Everytime’ ft Kranium in California. The Pandemic helped the process. I produced most of the sounds while I was out there. This album took about a year plus ❤️? #SpinallGRACEChat

As the chat continued, Dj Spinall revealed how he had to take a break from music production to help promote the producers he signed to his label 'The Cap Music'. However, for this project, Dj Spinall the producer sprung up. He also expressed that he doesn't intend to go into singing or rapping because  he enjoys collaborations.

I decided to take a chill off production when I signed Killertunes & Stunna to @TheCAPMusiic ...I focused my efforts on pushing their talents. In the past I produced - Serious ft Burna Boy , Love U ft Patoranking, Lifetime ft Wurld, 100 ft Sarkodie & Yung L ... All my records !

I can’t do it all. I cherish the idea of collaborations. It looks easy sometimes but it’s HARD. However, I have co-written a lot of popular records that ain’t even mine. I also recommend sounds to a lot of artist for their personal projects as well but they won’t tell you o Lool

Having spotted several collaborations on his project, Ovie was curious to know how he selected the artists to collaborate with for this project and why some artists were absent. He tweeted:

The sound most times directs me on the route to go. I’m also disappointed Davido, Baddo & Terri didn’t make it. I tried and tried but just couldn’t get them cleared before the time of release but the records are all fire & will be out soon God willing. #SpinallGraceChat

As the Chat continued Dj Spinall talked using part of this project to give new artists a platform to shine and he revealed that he has no intentions to sign any new artiste.

I do really want to sign an artist. I have a couple I have been working with closely lately. I’m still listening & hopefully soon. #SpinallGraceChat

The chat touched on beefs, the hardest songs to make, the easiest songs to make, and others. Dj Spinall expressed:

I don’t know about any beef. We were all at the video shoot. Please don’t believe all you read.

Things take time. I respect that. However, I only make music with people who wanna make music with me. Life is not hard ! #SpinallGraceChat

I would say the most convenient song was - “Energy” ... The session was such a beautiful vibe. #SpinallGraceChat
