Dj Switch's live recording of the massacre of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza which occurred on the 20th of October 2020 was amongst the footages of the recently conducted investigation by CNN and of which, the minister for information and culture, Lai Mohammed threatened to sanction CNN and he also refuted Dj Switch's claims that some Nigerian security agencies were after her life.

On the 24th of November 2020, Dj Switch took to social media to appreciate people for their good wishes and openly called the minister for information and culture a liar and being misinformed. In her words:
