The singer-songwriter felt there were some personal issues in the song, hence why it ended up featuring just one artist.

Nigeria's sensational singer, songwriter, and producer, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as Ckay, has given reasons why he took off BNXN (Buju) and Seyi Vibez from his record 'Hallelujah.'

The Magicsticks-produced collaboration with rapper Blaqbonez no doubt is one of the most exciting collaborations to be released in 2023, and it recently became the number one song on Apple Music Nigeria, but apparently, the song should have had more features.

Taking to social media, the singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist made it known that he had to take BNXN's verse off the song because he (BNXN) requested to be excused from the song after he heard Blaqbonez's verse on the song.

CKay went on to state that street-hop buzzing act Seyi Vibez was also taken off the record because his team failed to clear the song. According to CKay, Seyi Vibez's verse on the song might have been too personal, hence the reason why it wasn't clear.

The 'Love Nwantiti' crooner went on to make it known that the said verse might not be released ever. He wrote:

the bnxn version of HALLELUJAH may never come out. he asked to be ‘excused’ from the song when he heard blaqbonez’ verse and i simply granted his wish. seyi vibez version may also never come out because his team didn’t clear it. maybe the verse was too personal…maybeit was too deep…i fully respect it. but at the end of the day, HALLELUJAH represents my journey from the trenches to where i am today. blaqbonez is my bro for real and we share a lot more than a lot of you might think, but that’s a story for another day…
