Blaqbonez confirms new release date for delayed album ‘No Excuses’

Nigerian rapper and songwriter Blaqbonez has officially announced a new release date for his much-anticipated album, No Excuses.
The 16-track project, which was initially scheduled for August 22, 2025, will now be released on Thursday, October 17, 2025.
In a recent video shared on social media, the Go Home crooner revealed that the delay was necessary to ensure the album met his creative standards. He had previously told fans on X (formerly Twitter) that he needed more time to complete the project, saying, “I didn’t finish it on time, that’s the truth. Since I want to put out the best album ever, I’ve refused to cut any corners.”
To keep fans engaged while they awaited the new date, Blaqbonez released a single titled Everlasting Taker on the day the album was first postponed. The track joined other pre-released singles like Louder, W for WETEGO featuring Young Jonn, Phyno, and DJ 808, as well as Go Crazy, all of which have built anticipation for what’s to come.
Another fan favorite, Follow Her featuring Kizz Daniel, has also contributed to the hype surrounding the album.
With No Excuses set to arrive on October 17, the rapper, known for his sharp wit and bold personality, appears ready to deliver what he describes as his “best work yet.” The upcoming project follows his previous acclaimed albums Sex Over Love (2021), Young Preacher (2022), and Emeka Must Shine (2023), which solidified his position as one of Nigeria’s most inventive hip-hop voices.
As anticipation builds, fans are counting down the days to see how Blaqbonez continues to redefine his sound and prove once again why he calls himself the “Best Rapper in Africa.”
