Burna Boy’s 'Secret' earns silver certification in the UK
Burna Boy has secured another career milestone as his hit track Secret receives Silver certification in the United Kingdom.
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy, has added another accolade to his growing list of international achievements as his hit track Secret, featuring American singer Jeremih and Jamaican artist Serani, has officially been certified Silver in the United Kingdom.
The certification was issued by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), confirming the song has surpassed 200,000 units in sales and streams within the UK.
Secret, a standout track from Burna Boy’s critically acclaimed 2019 album African Giant, blends Afro-fusion with dancehall and R&B influences. The song, praised for its infectious rhythm and cross-continental collaboration, has remained a fan favorite since its release.
This latest certification adds to Burna Boy’s impressive list of UK honors, solidifying his status as one of Africa’s most commercially successful and globally celebrated artists.
