Nigerian singer Victony is set to give his hit single ‘Slick’ a new life with a remix featuring American R&B singer Summer Walker and rapper Don Toliver, following the original version’s impressive commercial run in Nigeria and beyond.

The singer confirmed that the remix will arrive at midnight on Friday, October 16, 2026, bringing together three artists whose distinct sounds could give the record a wider international reach.

Released in July 2026, ‘Slick’ quickly gained momentum, becoming one of Victony’s biggest solo releases. The song spent three consecutive weeks at number one on Nigeria’s Official Top 100 chart, marking his first solo chart-topper in the country. It also recorded strong radio airplay and streaming numbers, cementing its position as one of the standout records from his 2026 run.

The single also made significant strides internationally, reaching number two on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, where it held the position for three consecutive weeks. During the August 21–27 tracking period, the song reportedly recorded 900,000 official streams in the United States alone.

‘Slick’ later featured on Victony’s sophomore album, STARLIFE, released in 2026. The project further boosted the song’s visibility, with the single remaining the album’s highest-charting track in Nigeria following its release.
