Pep Guardiola reaches a remarkable milestone in Premier League history

The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, has shown why he is one of the best managers in the world.

The Spaniard achieved a feat that has never been achieved by any manager in the history of the Premier League. Pep Guardiola became the first person in the league's history to record 200 wins in 269 games, he is the fastest to reach such a mark.

This feat was achieved against Sheffield United on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Bramall Lane. Other managers to have won 200 Premier League games the fastest are Sir Alex Ferguson ( 322 games), Jose Mourinho ( 326 games), Arsene Wenger ( 332 games), and David Moyes ( 511 games).

Recall that, Guardiola had recently achieved another feat in Europe when he led his team to winning the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla. He became the first manager to win the competition with three different clubs ( Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona).

Manchester City supporters will hope they continue to enjoy success under Guardiola and hopefully win a treble the same way they did last season (2022/23).
