PSquare brothers reportedly at war again

Renowned Nigerian music duo, PSquare, comprising twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, and their elder brother Jude Okoye, are reportedly embroiled in a fresh controversy.

Reports shared online on Saturday, June 8, 2024, indicate that a business proposal sparked the latest rift, which may permanently end their musical partnership.

According to sources, a company offered to acquire PSquare's music catalogue, contingent upon gaining back-end access to their royalties since 2007. However, the discovery of an alleged shell company, reportedly used by Jude Okoye to embezzle funds from the group's joint-owned firm, has escalated tensions.

The report claims that Peter Okoye involved the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), leading to Jude Okoye's arrest. This development follows the noticeable absence of Jude and Peter Okoye from Paul Okoye's recent wedding in Abia state.

This latest fallout threatens to derail the brothers' musical collaboration, which has been a cornerstone of modern Afrobeat in Nigeria.

Fans are anxiously watching the situation unfold, hoping for a resolution that will preserve the iconic PSquare legacy.
