Charles Ugochukwu Akwuba popularly known as DJ Coublon is a Nigerian music producer and audio engineer. Based in Lagos State, Nigeria, he is among the producers signed to Made Men Music Group (Triple MG). DJ Coublon Outdid himself between late 2014 through 2015. Music Producer of The Year AFRIMMA AWARD 2016 Nominees.
The no doubt highly-rated record producer started little, and was relatively unknown by most industry professionals until he started churning out masterpieces. After producing Iyanya’s Le kwa Ukwu; It didn’t take long before everyone noticed the new wave in music production slowly sweeping across the landscape.
He produced one track of the label’s introductory album titled “The Evolution.”
Then after that he produced and unleashed a different type of sound which he infused on Kiss Daniel‘s – “WOJU” in the last quarter of 2014. With tremendous rave of the song and unique sound; he followed it with Laye in early 2015. After that major follow up; He was no doubt a force to be reckoned with. DJ Coublon produced tracks on Iyanya’s “Applauduse” album.
From then on, there was no stopping DJ Coublon, as he steadily started turning already made superstars into Mega superstars, and turning newbies in the industry into superstars.
From Iyanya‘s “Applaudise” to Kiss Daniel’s “Laye” and “Good Time“ “Raba” , Tekno’s “Duro” and “Wash“, Patoranking ft Wande Coal’s “My Woman My Everything” which he co-produced and many other production credits out there, it’s obvious this man is winning.
