Canada has, against all odds in the #WorldCupQualifiers, qualified for and secured a space in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and this would be their first appearance in the competition for the first time since their last outing in the World Cup 1986 in Mexico.

This would be the first time the Country will appear at the finals for the first time in 36 years after securing a spot with the total demolition of Jamaica by 4-0 on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Canada holds first place on the CONCACAF qualifying group and has now secured their place at a World Cup finals tournament for the first time since 1986.
