World Cup Qualifier: Watch North Macedonia Knock Out Italy from Playoffs

North Macedonia has created one of the biggest upsets in the history of World football as they knocked out the Italians from the World Cup playoffs.

The Italians were favourites to book their spot in the final of the playoffs as football pundits gave them the chance to knock out their opponents. However, North Macedonia had other plans in their mind as they scored the only goal in the 92nd minute of the game.

This is the fourth time, Italy will miss out of the World Cup for a second consecutive time. The Champions of Europe missed out of the Russia 2018 World Cup.

North Macedonia will play Portugal next week for a sole ticket to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Portuguese got the better of Turkey in their game 3-1 to set up a date in the final of the playoffs.
