Former World Number One tennis player, Novak Djokovic clinched his 21st grand slam title in fine style with a win over Nick Krygios.

The Serbian came into the game with the hope of retaining the title that he won last year. Krygois gave Djokovic an early scare when he took the first set 6-4. However, the 34-year-old showed why he was the number one tennis player as he took the remaining three sets. He won the game against Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).

The win saw the Serbian take his win at the Wimbledon grand slam to 28 and this is his seventh title at this Slam. Only Roger Federer (8) has won more Wimbledon grand slams than Djokovic.Djokovic (21) has now surpassed Roger Federer (20) in the number of grand slams won, he is one short of Rafael Nadal (22).
