Two of the top clubs in the Premier League, Arsenal and Manchester United locked horns in a top pre-season clash as they prepare for the 2023/24 football season.

The Gunners and the Red Devils played each other in New York at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Arsenal started their US tour with a 5-0 win over the MLS All-Stars last time out, as Kai Havertz scored his first Arsenal goal and both Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber made their debuts while United defeated Leeds and Lyon in their first pre-season games.

All three are handed their first starts for the club by Mikel Arteta, while United's latest signing Andre Onana was in attendance to see his new teammates face the Premier League's runners-up last season.

Manchester United the game 2-0 courtesy of two first-half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils also won the game 5-3 on penalties.
