Victor Osimhen reportedly set to take action against Napoli for Tiktok post

The days of Super Eagles forward player, Victor Osimhen at Napoli seem to be numbered following a post on Tiktok.

The Serie A club posted a video on its official TikTok account on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. The video was aimed at mocking Victor Osimhen for missing a penalty which could have won the game for the Serie A side.

There was a backlash from the football community on the various social media accounts which led the Napoli to take down the post. According to Osmhen's agent, the forward player would most likely take a legal action against the club.

"What happened today on Napoli's official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted. A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news. Osimhen is yet to sign a contract extension with the Naples ckub, he also had received truck load of offers from other clubs but he has decided to stay in Italy.
