Tottenham Hotspur Join Chelsea in Race to Sign Prospective Manager
Tottenham Hotspur has joined Chelsea Football Club in the race for the appointment of Luis Enrique as they look to appoint a new manager next season.
Both London clubs terminated the contract of their managers this season following a series of bad results in the league. Chelsea have two top candidates in mind ( Julian Nagelsmann and Enrique ) as they look to bounce back to winning ways next season.
The Blues have sent representatives to meet the former Bayern Munich manager as a possible replacement for Graham Potter. Chelsea have poor since the new owners which is led by Todd Boehly bought the club from Roman Abramovich.
Boehly delivered a pre-Real Madrid pep talk to Chelsea's players in the Stamford Bridge dressing room after the defeat to Brighton on Saturday in which he labeled the club's current form as "embarrassing". The Blues are currently placed in 11th position on the league table with 39 points having played 31 games.
