The English defender has failed to break into the Blues starting eleven for every game hit and has always been an unused substitute for most of the games managed by Thomas Tuchel. The Athletic confirmed the news of Chalobah wanting to leave the club before the transfer window ends.

Inter Milan have reportedly shown interest in signing the young defendder, however, Chelsea are not ready to lose the youngster on a permanent deal. However, the deal might not see the light of day if the Stamford Bridge club fails to sign Wesley Fofana from Leicester City.

The London club are still looking to sign one more defender in addition to Kalidou Koulibalu to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who recently joined Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
