Romelu Lukaku speaks on his relationship with Jose Mourinho at Roma

Romelu Lukaku has been in fantastic form since the start of this season, when he completed his move from Chelsea to Serie Aside, AS Roma.

The Belgian international was speaking in an interview when he was asked about his current form at the club and how his relationship had been with his manager, Jose Mourinho. According to him, he worked hard during the summer, and he does his talking on the pitch and not off the field.

"I worked a lot this summer. Many people have talked about me, I don’t talk and I show what I’m worth on the pitch."

What did he say about Mourinho?

Both parties had a good relationship when the pair at Manchester United. This will be the third time Mourinho will manage Romelu Lukaku, the duo were together at Chelsea and Manchester United.

"Mourinho? We have a special relationship, he knows my family. I have faith in him and vice versa."

Recall that Mourinho also spoke about how things have been between himself and Lukaku.

"At least people now can’t accuse me of not helping Lukaku to score goals he can score goals here at Roma but also at Manchester United or Inter. I am not someone who destroys player’s quality."

Lukaku joined Roma on a loan deal of £8 million, and they are also expected to take care of his salary during his one-year contract at the club.
