Former World Number 1 tennis player, Roger Federer has given hint about the possibility of him retiring from tennis.

The Swiss man was speaking in an interview which was reported on the official website of a French newspaper, RMC Sport. Federer for the first time in 25 years was not part of the latest ATP ranking when the body released the list for tennis players.

The 40-year-old who has won 20 grand slam titles has not played any competitive tennis game for over a year. However, the supporters of the Swiss master could still see their favourite on the court for one more time before he finally quits tennis.

Federer (20) is the person with the third-highest grand slams followed by Rafael Nadal (21) and Novak Djokovic (22).
