Carlo Ancelotti in his pre-match press conference has confirmed that Real Madrid has suffered a huge injury blow ahead of the Champions League final.

Ancelotti announced that midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni will not be available for Real Madrid at the Champions League final and might be a concern for France ahead of Euro 2024.

He verified that Tchouameni had suffered a stress injury to his left foot during the second-leg victory over Bayern Munich earlier this month, and he had to be substituted in the 69th minute.

The 14-time champions will face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium on June 1, which Aurelien would definitely miss while France's first fixture in the Euro 2024 against Austria, is scheduled for June 17, 2024, remains uncertain.

Ancelotti revealed, “He is doing individual work but he is not ready for the final. Let’s see if he’s ready for the Euro”.

Carlo Ancelotti for the first time spoke publicly on Toni Kroos's retirement from both club and country football. The Italian maestro revealed that Toni Kroos is one of the best midfielders he has ever worked with in his illustrious career.

Speaking on his importance to Real Madrid Don Carlo revealed, "Veteran players, legends, have to choose their destiny. Toni has made that decision and we have to respect it. We have to see him off as best we can. I respect his decision, it’s the decision of a man with balls, it’s the reality. Replacing someone like that is almost impossible, but this squad has the resources in the young players to take responsibility and follow the path marked out over the last ten years."

"Every year it loses pieces, but it doesn’t lose the atmosphere, the attitude and the commitment, they have to maintain the clean atmosphere that exists. It depends on each individual, but I don’t think it was a complicated decision for him.”
