Premier League announce October 2023 Player of the month

Liverpool's midfielder, Mohamed Salah, has been named the best player in the Premier League for October 2023.

He won the award following his impressive form with the Reds in the three games played in October 2023.

Salah received the award for the fifth time in his career after scoring five goals in the Reds’ three top-flight fixtures during October. This award takes him to the same number as Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie.

He scored both goals in the 2-2 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion and then in the 2-0 Merseyside derby win at Anfield. He also scored in the 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest were beaten 3-0.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo (6), Steven Gerrard (6), Harry Kane (7) and Sergio Aguero(7) have won the award on more occasions than Salah. He beat Bryan Mbuemo, Douglas Luiz, Pedro Netto, Declan Rice, and Christian Romero to win the award.
