The Egyptian King as he is popularly called by Liverpool supporters added another feather of record to his cap in the Premier League.

Mohamed Salah scored twice in the lunchtime game in the Premier League against Everton in the Merseyside derby on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He scored his 105th home goal, surpassing Liverpool legends Kenny Daglish and Steven Gerrard for the most goals at Anfield.

The 30-year-old has been fantastic in his last 13 Premier League games having either scored or assisted in those number of games at Anfield. Only Alan Shearer (runs of 18 and 17) and Thierry Henry (17) have ever done so in more consecutive home appearances in the competition.

This result means Liverpool have kept four consecutive clean sheets against Everton in the Premier League, their longest run without conceding against them in league competition since April 1976.
