The team's interim manager, Ralf Rangnick confirmed that the French midfielder will be out of the season because of an injury he suffered. Pogba has been on the wrong side of Manchester United's fans in recent seasons because of his ability to recreate the same performance he creates for France.

Daily Mail confirmed that Pogba has two offers from Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid. The 29-year-old's current contract expires in the summer and United's £89million club-record signing looks certain to leave for a second time on a free transfer.

Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Edinson Cavani, and Juan Mata are also expected to leave the club on free transfers during the summer window
