The news was confirmed on the official Twitter account of transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022. According to reports, an agreement has been reached between both Arsenal and Ligue 1 side, OG Nice with the French side paying most of the player’s salary.

Pepe has failed to break into the Gunners first team under the club’s manager, Mikel Arteta. However, there is no option to buy Pepe in the deal which means he will return at the end of the 2022/23 football season.
