Newcastle United Reportedly Open Talks with Lingard's Agent

Newcastle United are set to give another push for the signing of Jesse Lingard from Manchester United before the end of the transfer window.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Monday, January 24th, 2022. According to the tweet, the Magpies are looking at bringing the England player to the club at the end of the season.

There is also negotiations ongoing between Newcastle United and Lingard's agent. If the Magpies can bring Lingard to the St. James' Park, he will be a good addition to the club.

Lingard was on loan at West Ham United last season where he played one of his best football in a long while. The English player has reportedly asked that he wants to leave Old Trafford because of lack of playing time at the club.

Newcastle United are looking to build a team that will survive relegation and getting Lingard in their attack might help the team survive the drop zone.
