Naomi Osaka shares beautiful pictures of her new-born baby

Four-time Grand Slam winner, Naomi Osaka shared the first set of pictures of her newborn baby girl for the world to have a glimpse.

The Japanese posted the pictures on her official social media accounts on Thursday, July 14, 2023. Her child was wearing a white all-in-one with embroidered green and pink tennis rackets and tennis balls.

Osaka announced at the beginning of the year 2023 that she would be back for the Australian Open in 2024 while announcing that she was pregnant. She posted the picture with an amazing caption, "Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program,'" followed by a tennis ball emoji.

Osaka had struggled with mental health issues which have seen her fail to replicate her success at Wimbledon and the US Open. The 25-year-old announced that she will be taking a break from the sport after she suffered a shocking defeat to the finalist Leylah Fernandez in 2021.

This came months after withdrawing from the French Open that year, revealing that she has previously struggled with depression after her refusal to give post-match interviews had been criticised.
