The Egyptian King as he is popularly called by Liverpool fans joined the elite group of players to have won the Golden boot award alongside the playmaker award, which is given to players with the highest number of assists.

Salah scored 23 goals and 13 assists in the Premier League this season, equalling the feat that was set by Manchester United's Andy goal in the 93/94 season, Jimmy Floyd Hasselback in the 98/99 season and Tottenham's Harry Kane during the 2020/21 season.
