Man. United player suffers injury ahead of Nottingham Forest game

Manchester United Football Club will be without its first team player, Mason Mount ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils confirmed that the England International picked up an injury in the game against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday, August 19, 2023. According to the statement released by the club, Mason Mount is expected to return after the first International break of the 2023/24 season.

The midfielder has started both Premier League games so far this season, he made his competitive debut for the club in the 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

Mount has been under scrutiny by the supporters of Manchester United for his inability to fit into the club's style of play. He joined the club during the 2023 summer transfer window from Chelsea for £65 million.
