Luke Shaw sends a message to the Glazers family

Manchester United's left-back defender, Luke Shaw has sent a message to the owners of the club ahead of the new season.

The Englishman was speaking in an interview that was posted on Sportbible, where he was asked about what player the club needs to sign before the 2023 summer transfer window closes. He spoke about how the signing of Mason Mount and Andre Onana.

"We have already signed some very good players and hopefully there's more additions to come to strengthen the squad. don't really want to comment too much on that [Hojlund deal]. I think obviously he's not our player yet, so I won't say too much."

Luke Shaw said Manchester United needs an outright striker as they look forward to the new football season.

"Of course, we've got [Anthony] Martial, [Marcus] Rashford at the moment and [Jadon] Sancho, who can play there.
But an out-and-out striker is what we need and we're desperate for one. I'm very sure that the club know that, the manager knows that and us players would love one to come, too."
