Liverpool Football Club have set a new club record for the number of wins they have gotten in a season.

The Reds achieved this feat in their 1-0 victory against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday, April 30th, 2022. The Merseyside team highest number of wins in a season was 41during the 1985/86 and 2019/20 football seasons.

Liverpool are currently on 42 wins across all competitions and will get themselves more wins with almost seven games to be played before the end of the season.

The Reds are on a quest on winning a quadruple this season, a feat that has never been achieved by any club in the history of the Premier League. They have won the Carabao Cup and have a huge shout in winning the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
