Klopp expressed his delight as it concerns the contract extension at the club, according to him, this is his place and words can't really express how he feels.

There are so many words I could use to describe how I am feeling about this news… delighted, humbled, blessed, privileged. There is just so much to love about this place. I knew that before I came here, I got to know it even better after I arrived and now I know it more than ever before. Like any healthy relationship, it always has to be a two-way street; you have to be right for each other. The feeling we were absolutely right for each other is what brought me here in the first place and it’s why I’ve extended previously. This one is different because of the length of time we have been together. I had to ask myself the question: Is it right for Liverpool that I stay longer?

It was earlier reported that Klopp was already considering taking a sabbatical from coaching when his contract ends in 2024. The German joined the Reds in the summer of 2015 from Borussia Dortmund and has been influential for the club a nice he joined.

Liverpool are on the quest of winning a quadruple, a feat that has never been achieved by a Premier League club. They have won the Carabao Cup, have a big shout in winning the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup.

Klopp won the Champions League, Club World Cup and Super Cup with Liverpool in 2019, before helping the club to win its first Premier League title in 2020.
