The Brazilian who has always wanted a move to Barcelona is expected to join the La Liga club after an improved offer was submitted to Leeds United. According to reports from the Daily Mail, Barcelona are ready to pay £63 million for the player which matches the expectations of Leeds’s valuation of £55 million, plus £8 million in add-ons.

The deal will be a big blow for Chelsea supporters who were looking forward to seeing the Brazilian at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are looking at Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling as a replacement for the quest to sign Raphinha.

The England man was in London for a medical and is set to join Chelsea in Los Angeles, where they are on a pre-season tour.
