Jurgen Klopp Speaks Ahead of Clash Against Manchester United

The manager of Liverpool Football Club, Jurgen Klopp has spoken ahead of the Premier League game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The German was speaking at a press conference ahead of the mouth-watering game which will be played on Monday, August 22nd, 2022. According to Klopp, the situation of this game is different from what happened last season between both clubs in the Premier League.

I could be less interested from the results of last year, they are different games and different situations. It just helps United a bit to be more motivated, if that is possible looking at the situation that we are in.

Liverpool are in a different situation than they were in heading to play the Red Devils as compared to last season. The Reds beat Manchester United 9-0 on aggregate last season in the Premier League.

However, the gap between both teams this season seems to have closed up looking at their results from the opening group games. Manchester United have lost their two games while Liverpool have drawn their two games.
