Jose Mourinho signs two-year-deal with top European club
Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed to join Turkish club side, Fernabache on a two-year deal with an option to extend by an extra year.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Jose Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes has been negotiating the deal on behalf of the former Real Madrid manager. According to the Italian, he has already agreed to the deal and will be meeting with some of the board members of Fernabache in Wembley this weekend for the final of the UEFA Champions League.
The Portuguese international who was recently sacked by Serie A side, AS Roma has been out of a job for the past couple of months after his contract was terminated. Mourinho was in charge of Roma for two-and-half years joining them six months after he was sacked by Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur.
The 61-year-old led Roma to win the Europa Conference League in 2022 and the Europa League final in 2023 but lost on penalties to Sevilla. However, the supporters of Fernabache hope they can win the league title next season after they lost the title by just three points to rivals Galatasaray.
He will bring his experience to Fernabache having won multiple league titles in his career, in England with Chelsea, Italy with Inter Milan, and Spain with Real Madrid. He also won the Champions League with Inter in 2010.
