Greater Manchester Police Release Mason Greenwood on Bail
Manchester United's player, Mason Greenwood has been released on bail by the Greater Manchester Police pending further investigations.

The news was confirmed on Sky Sports News on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022. According to reports from th statement released by the Police, Greenwood was released on bail pending investigation that concerns the accusations.
A 20-year-old man arrested on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 on suspicion of the rape and assault on a woman has been released pending further investigation.
A woman posted pictures and videos on Instagram on Sunday morning accusing Greenwood of physical abuse and sexual assault. The woman also released a voice note between herself and Greenwood. The posts had since been deleted.

Manchester United released a statement after the incident confirming that Greenwood will not be part of the team's training sessions and games until further notice.
The striker was also removed from the FIFA'22 game version while Nike also suspended their deal with the player.
