Defending Champions France Suffer Third Injury Blow Ahead Of FIFA World Cup 2022

The woes keep compounding for France as it has been confirmed that another crucial first-team player will miss out on the FIFA World Cup 2022.

It has been confirmed by numerous sources that France would be without another integral first-team player alongside N'Golo Kante and Varane ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022, scheduled to be played in Qatar.
Paul Pogba, who has been out injured since the start of the 2022/2023 club football season due to injury, will also be missing the World Cup in Qatar.
His agent Rafaela Pimenta confirmed that the world cup winning player would not be able to feature in Qatar due to a new injury he picked up. The French international, who had been embattled in a recent controversy that involved his brother, has not featured in a single game for Juventus since he finalized his contract in July 2022.
This is a huge concern for Didier Deschamps as his world cup-winning midfield duo Pogba and Kante would not be able to feature at this year's edition. This would leave the coach with more questions than answers and also a big problem with his midfield selections, as both Pogba and Kante have both left big shoes to fill.
This might affect the title defence of France as the side has been shaky in other international competitions where both midfielders had not featured in.
France is currently not the only one experiencing this challenge, as the top sides England, Portugal and Belgium are also faced these challenges.
