There would be major concerns for Belgium head coach Roberto Martínez, as his team selection might just take a shift as his star forward Romelu Lukaku might miss out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 scheduled to take place in Qatar on the 20th of November 2022.

Inter Milan had confirmed in an official statement released on the site that the striker had suffered a sprain on his left hamstring and that the striker is still under observation to assess the impact of the damage.

Lukaku had recently recovered from injury and had featured in just two matches before he suffered this huge blow. His initial hamstring issue saw him miss 12 games for Inter Milan across all competitions.

This might be a huge blow for Roberto Martinez, who might also be on the lookout for a perfect replacement. Lukaku joins the long list of players that might just be missing out on the FIFA World Cup 2022.
