Five Arsenal players reportedly set to miss Bournemouth clash
Arsenal Football Club could be without five of its first-team players ahead of the Premier League game against Bournemouth.
The manager of the Gunners, Mikel Arteta confirmed in his press conference that his team will face the Cherries on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He confirmed that the team might be without Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka.
He also said that the team's defender, William Saliba has been struggling with a knock and could not be available for selection. Arteta responded to the question asked about Saliba and Fabio Vieria.
"Let’s see how everybody is today. They weren’t selected, they weren’t fit enough to be in the squad that’s it. My hope is that everybody is fit and available. We need them."
Saliba's absence was a big blow to Arsenal last season (2022/23) in their quest to win the Premier League title. However, he has played every minute for the Gunners this season, any injury to him will not be a dent to their quest to win trophies this season (2023/24).
