FIFA Shortlists Salah, Messi, Lewandowski for the Best Award
The body governing football in the world, FIFA have announced the short list of three players for the Best Award.

Liverpool's inform winger, Mohamed Salah is the one of the three players shortlisted for the award. The Egyptian who is currently in Cameroon ahead of the African Cup of Nations has scored 16 goals for the Merseyside club and he is in the best form of his life.
Bayern Munich's striker, Robert Lewandowski is the second player on the list because of his goalscoring abilities at the Bundesliga club. The Polish striker scored 63 goals last year and might be the favourite to win the award.
Paris Saint-Germain mmidfielder, Lionel Messi is the last player on the list of shortlisted players by FIFA for the award. Messi was a key part of the Argentine team that won the Copa America at the expense of rivals Brazil in June 2021.

The winner of the award is voted by a jury that is made up of current men's national team coaches and captains, one specialist journalist from each territory represented by a national team and fans registered on FIFA's official website.
