Cristiano Ronaldo announces his retirement date

Al-Hilal and Portugal's forward player, Cristiano Ronaldo has announced the date that he will possibly decide to finally hang his boot.

Ronald made this announcement at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, where he was asked about the possible time he will retire from football. The 38-year-old addressed a lot of questions during the interview but the one making the headline is the player's retirement date.

He said,

"The moment I feel I’m done, I will retire maybe in 10 years?! This statement not only reflects his exceptional longevity in the sport but also his unwavering passion for football. "

Ronaldo has continued to show his fantastic form since he made his move to Al-Nassr from Manchester United in January 2023. He emerged as the player with the highest number of goals last year (56).
