Christopher Nkunku shares the latest update on his injury

One of the latest arrivals at Chelsea Football Club during the 2023 summer transfer window, Christopher Nkunku, has given an update on his injury.

The French international posted pictures of himself on his official Instagram account on Monday, September 18, 2023. Christopher Nkunku suffered an injury just days before the start of the 2023/24 football season, which has been a big blow to Chelsea.

He posted the pictures with the caption, "in progress."

Nkunku sustained a knee injury, which will rule the forward out for the Blues at least until December 2023. The 25-year-old has undergone an operation and will now begin a rehabilitation programme with the club's medical department.

The forward signed a six-year deal with the Blues, which is expected to keep him at the club until the summer of 2029. He scored 35 goals in all competitions during the 2021/22 campaign and was named Bundesliga Player of the Season and German PFA Player of the Season.
